Biography (Biografía)
Our dear father Juan Martín Frausto fought for 3 exact years with brain cancer (glioblastoma multiforme) and passed away at the young age of 63 years old. He was dedicated to his family, the Alcoholics Anonymous community, and for driving buses in his City of San Diego. Since he was young, he was a pillar in his family. He was a hard-working, supporting son to his mother who he aided financially by working at the early age of 9 years old and he helped raise his siblings after his father passed away due to alcoholism.

At the age 21, he immigrated to the US to find work to support his family. In his path he found the love of his life, Sofia Gonzalez, one night while out dancing in San Diego, CA. Juan was enamored instantly and life blossomed there after with three beautiful children Vanessa, Daisy, and Juan Jr. He adored spending time with his grandson Kayden and looked after him as if one of his.
He did his best to keep a positive state of mind and placing his life and his trust in God as he always has. Juan was always giving back to his community, serving as an AA sponsor to many people in need for the 36 years that he was sober. Through his walk through life he had lived by the saying "Live and let live'' and during his cancer struggles he relied on his AA community to keep his spirits high.
He found a passion in driving buses for more than 20 years, it makes sense for someone always so eager to help and meet new people. Our father had a very uplifting spirit who was always the life of the party and the best dancer. Ironically, on the day of October 13 while driving people with disabilities, he started to notice that he had weakness on his left hand side of the body, doctors found a brain tumor then we found out he had incurable stage 4 brain cancer.
Our father craved more life and he fought hard to get on his feet again. He was granted 3 years to spend time with his family and they cared for him until his last day. In his memory, we will continue to walk this path of life as he would've wanted us to, with love and light and now with him watching over us all.
